Taraon Ti Biag: Food For Life

Producer, Camera and Editor for this 30min program commissioned by the Hawaii State Dept. Of Health on promoting healthy diet for young Filipinos in Hawaii.

This program promotes the use of foods and nutrition concepts of the traditional Filipino people. It describes the benefits of remembering the Filipino heritage and cultural practices, and discusses why cultural food practices that emphasize vegetables and fruits are better for health, the benefits of exercise, and drawbacks of some cultural food practices such as eating organ meats. It show examples of growing vegetables and ways of cooking them.
